On October 25, 2014, and November 15, 2014, the grass was seen thriving under these conditions. Similar observations were made on May 1, 2015, and December 18, 2015, indicating that the plant can grow throughout the year with proper irrigation. The ability of Rhodes grass to tolerate a range of temperatures and moisture levels allows it to be a successful crop in Qatar's climate. Overall, the observations suggest that Chloris gayana is well-suited for cultivation on irrigated fields in Qatar, making it a viable option for agriculture in the region. Its growth was consistent across different times of the year, highlighting its adaptability.
