Aizoon canariense is a succulent annual herb native to the Canary Islands and North Africa. In Qatar, it has been found to grow in coastal areas, particularly on sandy beaches and salt flats. Studies have reported its presence in the country's northeastern region, where it thrives in saline environments with high temperatures and low rainfall. The plant's adaptability to harsh conditions makes it a notable component of Qatar's unique flora.
